If you are looking for great views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges and the Hudson River, head on over to Brooklyn Bridge Park. 

Brooklyn Bridge Park can be reached by Subway or by Ferry.

Stop off for some ice cream at the historical fire house that houses the  Van Leuwen Ice cream parlor. Buy lunch at one of the many food carts. As you walk along the river, you may discover many activities and events, and a traditional carousel. Eventually you will reach the old Brooklyn Heights Promenade. This lovely walkway proceeds Brooklyn Bridge Park.
